Reflecting Into the New Year
As I begin this new year, I am taking a moment to reflect on the wonderful and challenging aspects of the year behind me. For this new year, I have decided to work on being less reactive and triggered by events that are beyond my control.
This is the time I like to go inside and plant the seeds for what I want to grow and flourish later into the year, and beyond. This time last year, I was so disheartened with the isolation I was experiencing painting at my old studio. Since then, I have moved into a new studio in the Santa Barbara Funk Zone, and I am so grateful to be enjoying the camaraderie of my neighboring artists. I have been uplifted by the sense of community I have found here.
What are you imagining for your year ahead?
I want to send my very best wishes to each of you and I appreciate your continued interest and support.
